The story that I am sharing and hoping all that read will feel a sense of compassion for this beautiful young lady. I have known her her whole life, and was blessed with her mom telling me she was my namesake.
Even though we have not seen each other in years we have stayed in contact via facebook.  I have watched her in many stages of her life being an amazing daughter to her mother, my childhood friend and raising a family of her own.  She cared for her mother for several years prior to her passing just over 2 years ago and during that time Sarah really touched my heart on how compassionate she was to her mother....Recently through facebook I have struggled watching this beautiful mom now battling her own illness.  The pain of knowing she is fighting without the comfort of her mother really breaks my heart.  She has been so optimistic for the length of her fight.  It was just recent i saw a post where she was asking for help...my heart pulled at me and I had to reach out to everyone that might feel with her
I am asking even if you can only afford $1 to please add it to this campaign.  This is the season of LOVE and giving and remembering others during their struggles.  I thank you ahead of time foir your kindness....Please make this a time that shows the world LOVE and COMPASSION to all...especially those in need!!!!

This is Sarah's story:

My name is Sarah Flores. I am 38 years old. I am a mother of 6 kids. I have been dealing with kidney stones issues for about 6 years . The doctors couldn't remove any stones so therfore they placed a temporary stent. After the surgery I was sent home. The following morning, I was relaxing and taking care of small things around the house. While walking into my kitchen I felt lightheaded and my autistic daughter caught me as I started to fall.  My older daughter got a chair and they tried sitting me down but instead my body went completely limp and they had to lay me flat on my kitchen floor.  My oldest daughter saw that I was in and out of consciousness and called  the paramedics . I was hospitalized for 6 days. And then they concluded Ihad signs of acute Myeloid LEUKEMIA.
Then I was taken by ambulance Rush University Hospital. I had to stay there for 45 days. During this time I did one cycle of chemo and then when I was released.  I was home for about 5 days and then admitted again for another cycle of chemo.
When I am not in the hospital I have 3 appointments a week for constant check ups and transfusions.
I have 5 biological children (Incoensia 19yr, Nicholas 11yr, Rj 6yr, Freddy 4yr, Esperanza 17yr) and 1 adopted son. We are all pulling together to do the best we can. But, saving are being depleted fast with the constant meds and hospital trips.
My 4 years old son is taking it the hardest while my 19 year old daughter is trying her best she can.

With the Holidays here and our medical expenses adding up ...I would more then be thankful for any help anyone can offer.  I also would love all the prayers for healing since that would be the BEST gift of all!
