Help Keep Me Going

I'm a 69-year-old retiree in Philadelphia driving Lyft to supplement my retirement income. After roughly 150K miles of service my 2013 Kia Optima Hybrid has decided it's time for a new transmission. I've only had this car since November '22 and owe too much on it to make selling it an option, so I have to keep it in good working order. Can you help me? The price quoted for a replacement transmission is $4700, I have an extended warranty for the drivetrain that might pay for as much as $2500, but I need to be sure I can cover the whole expense before giving the go-ahead to start work. Roughly 50% of my income comes from my driving work and if I don't get this repair done quickly I'll soon fall behind in my routine monthly bills.
