Sheila's Medical Fund

Sheila Nolan has been a dedicated health care professional for over 30 years. Her hard work and dedication of helping others is evident in everything she does. Sheila has juggled two to three jobs at a time at to provide for herself and her three children. Her drive and work ethic is something to epitomize. My brother, sister and I are so fortunate to have such a strong woman as our mother. On Easter Sunday, 2016, our mom had a seizure that was a direct result of a ruptured Basilar artery aneurysm. She endured a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage (a profusive bleed in the compartment between the brain and skull) which has left her hospitalized since. Sheila has undergone procedures and surgeries to harness the bleed and prevent the aneurysm from re-rupturing, but the journey has just begun. Our mom has always been our rock and it's been the hardest thing my siblings and I have had to witness. One of the hardest parts is that she's the one that would know exactly what to say and do to help us through this. She's the glue that holds our family together. We've never seen someone who can take everything that life has thrown at her and never complain and manage to keep such a positive attitude. The toll this has taken on our family has been substantial. The doctor's have prepared us for the worst but we know she's strong enough to push through this. This is something nobody saw coming, and our family has a long road ahead. As the doctors have told us repeatedly, this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. My brother and sister are working hard to maintain all of her bills but the medical bills are piling up. The doctors have indicated that she will be receiving more surgeries once she has recovered from this most recent brain surgery. Any donations towards our mothers security and recovery is greatly appreciated.
