In Memory of Stephen Whitney

In March 2003 Stephen was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer and had a partial resection of his colon. In December 2003 he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and at that time they removed half of his thyroid. In 2005 he had over 35 biopsies and surgeries to remove multiple skin cancers with one of these being melanoma. Moving right along, in May 2010 he had pneumonia and when they took an xray they discovered a mass in the upper lobe of his right lung. They removed that entire lobe of his lung. He did treatments in Florida as well as traveling to Atlanta every few weeks. 

After a courageous fight, Jesus healed him completely on the morning of January 24, 2016.  Steve requested donations for his loving family in lieu of flowers to help cover medical expenses and funeral costs. Join us in praying for peace and comfort as we celebrate this man we loved so much.
