Hair & Beauty Industry Fundraiser for Ukraine

Countless lives in Ukraine are being torn apart by violence. There is massive and widespread displacement, trauma, injuries and separation from loved ones; all of which is having devastating consequences on its people.

Red Cross teams are now on the ground in Ukraine. There is much for them to do, and our support will help those affected to get badly needed supplies of food, medicine, shelter and water. Funds raised will also help support health facilities and supply families with lifesaving and hygiene items. 

HABIC is reaching out to you today to seek your help as we come together as an industry to raise funds for the Ukraine Crisis Appeal. These funds will support the Red Cross in their efforts to get what is so badly needed directly to the people of Ukraine. 

We are asking salons nationwide to organise a fundraiser in your salon over the coming days. It can be as simple as a 'bucket' collection at your reception desk, or a contribution of tips, or a portion of sales on a particular day. 

As a show of solidarity and support, on the 19th of March we urge industry professionals to attend work draped in the Ukrainian colours.
