Habitat Hurricane

If you know and love the Habitat then you are probably familiar with Nicole and Ashley.  Nicole could be found pouring beers and managing the front, while Ashley, the chef, was solely responsible for the delicious foods you have been eating over the last ten years.  Despite the setbacks and income loss we experienced in our last few weeks before closing, we persevered and overcame the hardships to continue to serve the community.    As many of you might know, we had both been planning to relocate to Puerto Rico once the bar closed for new business opportunities and an overall better life.  Exactly one week before our departure date Hurricane Maria ripped through the island destroying our new homes, stranding our loved ones and leaving little hope for a new business opportunity.  Our possessions are somewhere at sea and are currently unable to be tracked down.  We have made new travel plans and will be embarking on a rescue mission to locate Ashley’s boyfriend who is currently unaccounted for.  We will use 100% of the funds to help rebuild our lives, homes, and community.  Although it’s never been our nature to ask for help, the only thing we have been able to consistently count on these last few months has been the support from the people who love us most.  We will rebuild, we just need your help!
