ሃብቶም ገብረሚካኤል ብ/ብርሃነ ብሞት ካብ’ዛ ዓለም ብምፍላዩ መሪር ሓዘና ተሰሚዑና፡ ሃብቶም ነቱ ዝወረዶ ሕማምን ቃንዛን ተጻዊሩ ደሓን ኢየ ኣምላኽ ይመስገን እንተዘኮይኑ ሓንቲ መዓልቲ ዓቕሊ ኣጽቢቡ ኣይፈልጥን፥ ዝከኣሎ ተጻዊሩ ከኣ ኣብ ንኡስ ዕድሜኡ ዘፍቅራ ብዓልቲ ቤቱ ኮኮብ ኣርኣያን ሕወቱ ዝኮኑ ናእሽቱ ደቑ ማቴዋስን ኣቢነርን (7ን 4ን ዝዕድሜኦም) ከምኡ ከኣ ወላዲቱን ኣሕዋቱን ገዲፉ ናብ ነዋይ ዓለም ናይ ዘለኣለም ቤቱ ሓሊፉ።

ሃብቶም ብሓቂ ብድሕሪ ሞት ዘለኣለማዊ ሕወት ከምዘሎ ዝኣም፡ ንሰብ ክሕግዝ ዚብል ሓቦኛን ምቅሉልን ኣብ ስራሕ ትጉህ ደኺመ ዘይብል ጻዕራም ኢዩ ነሩ።

ሃብቶም ኣብታ ዝተወልደላ ዓደብኡ ክቕበር ለበዋኡ ስለ ዝኾነ ነዚ ዘድሊ ወጻኢታት ንምሽፋን ከምኡ’ውን ንደቁ ዝኸውን ሓገዝ ኩሉ በብ ዓቕሙ ንምውፋይ ክትሓባበር ብትሕትና እንዳሓተትና እሕሰም ኣይትርኸቡ ንብል።

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, cousin and friend Habtom Ghebremicael. Habtom’s devastating and quick fight with stomach cancer has left his family with an unfathomable loss.

Habtom fought till the end with the strength of a deity. Some days were full of pain and fear. Other days were full of treatments and sickness. But all of his last days were full of love and faith. He was an electric soul full of hope and kindness. When others were suffering he was the first to reach out and try to help. He loved to fill those that were suffering with the hope of better days and the promise of friendship. If you didn’t know Habtom, you missed out making a mighty friend. If you did know him, then you know how vibrant and good he was to his family, friend and to Eritrean community especially reside in the vicinity of Guelph.

He left behind his dear wife, Kokobe, and their two sons. Abner and Matthew, age 4 and 7. This is the time they really need our help and please do not hesitate to show your kindness and generosity. I want them both kids to feel our love and know how much of an impact Habtom made on all of us!

Habtom truly believed in life after death. Many of our conversations were filled with hope in God. He was just a superstar and someone who supported everyone he could! Please help us return that love to his family by donating. We are trying to raise funds for his travel, funeral expense and to transport him back to Eritrea to be laid to rest as per his wish. We humbly request your support and generosity during this incredibly difficult time. No donation is too small and every contribution will make a difference in the lives of these young boys. Together, we can offer them hope stability and a chance to rebuild their lives.

Habtom’s sprit will forever live on in his children, and through our collective efforts, we can ensure his legacy continues to shine brightly.
