Marks Cancer Journey

I am writing this on behalf of a close family friend Mark Williams. I know this person would never ask for help so please take a minute to read his story. Mark has been on a cancer journey for the past 12 years, never, in all this time has he ever asked for anything. 4 months ago he received devastating news that the cancer had returned & this time very aggressively. The diagnosis is Stage 4 advanced melanoma which has metastasised throughout his body, currently Mark has tumours in the lungs, kidneys & the chest wall. Mark & his family have kept this very low key since November 2024 but is now receiving life saving treatment at Charlies hospital. The treatment consists of invasive double immunotherapy which is given weekly, this has taken a toll on Mark’s body & is currently unable to work. He has unfortunately had 4 overnight hospital visits due to the severe side effects, being in and out of hospital it has made it impossible to work. Mark’s wife, Anna which is the most amazing woman has cut her hours down to be there for Mark. Mark & Anna have never asked for anything & are devastated that it’s come to this.

He has raised thousands of dollars for cancer research and will continue to do so,

It would be great if we could get behind Mark & give something back, the prognosis is still very much bleak, Mark has been given just 50% chance of survival. It breaks my heart to see his family go through this & without any help from the state.

He has never let cancer control him & he continues to research new ways to overcome this terrible disease. Please help & lets give some hope to this beautiful family ❤️
