Hagerstown MD Scrap Yard Cats

Help kick off the first phase of our TNR project 2018 by spaying neutering and vaccinating 15 cats from the following locations:  ( 4 )Rohrersville, (3 )Dargan,(6)Oak Ridge Drive and (2) Bradford apartments. 

The costs we anticipate for surgeries which start this Monday March 19 are:

Sterilization for 15 cats  @ $70/ea                      = 1,050
(Already received funding for 10  cats)             =(700)
Balance for surgeries needed                                 =$ 350

The necessary extras that grant $$ never cover:
*Microchips  15 cats @ $25/ea              =        375
Antibiotics     2 cats @ $30/ea              =           60
Flea treat        7 cats @ $10/ea              =           70
Ear cleaning for mites 10 cats @ $10/ea= 100
Balance for extras needed                            =$605

Total  $$ needed                                                      = $955

30 cents per transaction 

Second Phase Begins April 8, 2018
East Oak Ridge -  5 more cats @ $70/each =$350.00

* Note- microchipping is a must since it is the only form of id the cat has to get back to its home.  In 2017 we were able to retrieve 5 shy cats from the Hagerstown Animal Control because we had microchipped.
