Hailey Joy Felten!
Donation protected
As some of you know, just two short years ago Danielle said “Yes!” She said yes to fostering, she said yes to the unknown, and she said yes despite her fears because she knew God was bigger than those fears.
In June of 2021, three days after she was licensed to foster, she got her first call for placement. It was time to put her ‘yes’ into motion and she drove to the hospital to pick up an eleven-day-old baby out of the NICU. I think it’s easy to say it was love at first sight but Danielle will tell you she genuinely wanted to provide a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for this girl to thrive. And thrive she did! Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Hailey Joy knows what a fierce, loving, and fun-spirited girl she is!
With the transition to adoption, there are many more uncertainties; but Danielle remains steadfast in trusting a God who will provide. With the high cost of living, added daycare costs, and unforeseen expenses, may we bless them and make their transition as smooth as possible. Instead of gifts, I am asking for donations to go towards their ‘Forever Fund’ to help aid and support them over the next several years. We all know it takes a ‘village’ and she has been blessed with THE BEST village. If you feel called to donate, a little bit helps and I know she will be grateful for it all!
This week we celebrate foster children everywhere! We celebrate the gracious families who raise them, the community of people who support them and all of the struggles and the triumphs that come along with the journey. Hailey Joy has completely captivated all of our hearts, especially her forever mom, Danielle!
May we continue to love them, support them, and pray for them over the next several years!! As always, thank you for being the best dang ‘village’ and for all of your support!
The goal has been changed to $10,000 which is how much daycare will cost for the year. Let us bless the Felten family and help offset this expense. Every little bit helps and we appreciate everyone who has contributed!! Please keep sharing <3
