Hailey's Gymnastics Competition Journey
We are heading into Hailey's 2nd competitive season as a level 3 gymnast. She had a rocky start at first but got the hang of competiton quickly.
Not only did she take home many medals last season but she also won 1st place at STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS in December. At 8 years old she holds a State Championship for Vault.
This year she'll need another new competition leo and jacket/pants, and team gym bag. This season there are currently 10 meets on the schedule from August 2015 to May 2016. Meet fees alone usually cost a total of $1,000 when all is said and done.
Hailey comes from a one parent home and as we all know gymnastics can be a very expensive sport. Not only does her mother cover tuition for Hailey at her gym but she also covers hotels (if necessary), traveling to and from the meets, and even takes time off work to support Hailey at her meets. As a single mother, every little bit helps!
