A Hairy Affair
Donation protected
Since being diagnosed with breast cancer early this year, my wonderful friends and family have asked if there is anything they can do to help me. I have already been completely spoilt with wonderful flowers and gifts and feel so lucky to have such tremendous support!
As you can imagine, when you're diagnosed with such a scary disease, a million thoughts run through your mind. Am I going to die? Probably not. Great! Can I still have children? Most probably. (Thank you science) Will I lose my hair? Yes.
Cancer and its treatment might rob me of my energy, time and my precious health, but I won't let it rob me of my normality.
Before I start chemotherapy in 2-3 months, I intend to get hold of an absolutely fabulous (real hair) wig! I am also hoping to get semi permanent eyebrow tattoos. I refuse to look like a cancer victim.
I will find a way to do this, but if anyone wanted to help me in any way, please donate a few pennies to have a share in my hair.
Much love,
Sarah xxx
