Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund

The members of First Haitian Church of God of Houston and the surrounding community are eager to help the people of Haiti; whom as of this morning have suffered a devastating earthquake.

The earthquake was about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northeast of Saint-Louis-du-Sud and 10 kilometers deep (about 6 miles deep), according to the USGS.

Rescue groups are on the ground assessing damage and they are reporting significant damage to homes, roads, and infrastructure.

Haiti has also recently been impacted by other crises, including food insecurity during the Covid-19 pandemic and the assassination of its President Jovenel Moise.
