Haitian Youth National Team Soccer ID Camp
Donation protected
International soccer is transforming. National teams are adding diaspora, dual citizenship individuals to their rosters and are seeing positive results. In the 2022 World Cup, the Moroccan Men’s National team roster showed 17 out 23 players born out of country, and they ended in 4th place.
L’Union Fait La Force is a US based nonprofit working to build a strong foundation and opportunities for Haitian youth with pathways to the National Team, universities, colleges, and professional platforms.
L’Union Fait La Force hosts ID camps in the summer that are focused on training, development, and identifying Haitian players for scouts at the national team level, colleges, universities, and professional opportunities. These connections support building strong teams, and will support the development of national teams.
This year's camp is being held at Broward College South Campus fields from July 15 - 20, 2024 and is hosted by the nonprofit, L'Union Fait La Force (LFLF). This is the second ID camp, and from the first ID camp a U17, Belmar Joseph was ID'd, played in international competition representing Haiti, and is now on the Haitian National Men's Team.
Scouts from the Haitian National Team, Inter Miami, Orlando City, Florida Atlantic University, and Barry University will be in attendance this year with potentially more.
The camp is FREE for players; however, there are costs that will be incurred and we could use your support. LFLF wants to make the camp accessible for all Haitian youth, and those of Haitian descent (eligible for citizenship) to attend and not be cost prohibitive.
Listed below are the expenses for the ID camp. We are seeking supporters and sponsors. The equipment and balls have been donated already.
$3,120 – Field costs for the week
$2,250 – Coaching staff for the week
$2,700 – Tshirt camp uniform for 180 kids
Total = $8,070
For sponsors that provide more than $2,500 in donations will have their logos added to the website, the camp TShirts, and also promoted on social media.
Thank you in advance as all support is greatly appreciated!
