Andrè Coulter is a longtime resident of the tri-state area. He has lived and worked in NYC for 20+ years, worked in NJ for two and now currently resides in Fairfield County for the past three years while the entire country rebounds from the worldwide pandemic. Andrè is a servant leader, philanthropist, former kickboxing instructor and NJCAA collegiate athlete. His whole life has been focused on being an athlete and serving others at the highest level.

On August 12th 2022 at approximately 938am, Andrè was heading to take a kickboxing class and was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident where a driver impeded a stop sign and T Boned Andrè. The impact left Andrè with life sustaining injuries that will alter the trajectory of his life ten fold. Andrè was immediately rushed to Saint Vincent’s Hospital for emergency surgery where it was determined necessary to amputate his dominant right arm due to the complete severance of his humorous. It was discovered that he also sustained bi-lateral scapula fractures, two broken ribs, a compressed compound fracture in his C7 vertebrae, and a TBI ( Traumatic Brain Injury) causing swelling in his frontal cortex.

Andrè remained in the ICU for five days, and in the hospital for an additional two weeks recovering from the accident. Thankfully, his prior health and physical condition were the catalyst to help him recover and deal with the nuances of surgery, therapy and other rehabilitation efforts.

Currently, Andrè is in amazing spirits and has been undergoing rehabilitation twice a week and working up to full strength to resume normal work duties with his non-dominant arm. Unfortunately, with the lack of medical coverage at the time of the accident, the lack of insurance by the motorist at fault for hitting Andrè, the overwhelming medical bills and the creation of an upper extremity prosthesis, Andrè is faced with a financial burden that he hopes to overcome one day. We’re praying and hoping for any help, support and financial assistance from this campaign to help guide Andrè with financial relief for the uphill battle he is facing. All proceeds will be used to finance, create and distribute the upper arm prosthetic from Next Step Technology located in Danbury, CT. All remaining donations will be used to pay outstanding medical bills from St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Andrè is a man of faith, perseverance, grit and sheer determination. His positivity through it all has been amazing and while this new norm will be a monumental adjustment he is always smiling and repeating to everyone he touches, “Champions Adjust.”

Andrè wants to thank the following local leaders for their unwavering support, guidance and prayers through this difficult time:
