Hal's Top Surgery/Gender Transition
Donation protected
First of all, thank you for taking the time to open up this link and read my story!
My name is Hal (they/them), and I am a transgender, nonbinary college student with a big need and small funds.
I started this fundraiser to help me pay for surgery to have my breasts removed (top surgery) in the next year or so. All funds will be put toward my medical transition and making sure I can pay for basic necessities (rent, food, etc.) during my recovery.
Your support means the world as I take the necessary steps to live my truth in the most genuine and fulfilling manner possible. I feel strongly that this surgery will greatly improve my self confidence and quality of life. I dream of the day when I only have to wear shorts to the beach, when I can put on a shirt and not stand in the mirror debating whether my chest is too noticeable. Most of all I look forward to the day when I can feel secure leaving my home without having to bind my chest.
Simply put, I look forward to feeling secure and comfortable in my own body, which we all deserve. I am very blessed to have the resources to work toward that feeling.
This surgery will figuratively and physically take a huge weight off my chest.
Thanks again for taking the time to support me by reading my story, keeping me in your thoughts, sharing this page, and donating. It means more to me than you could ever know.
