Hale Aloha

Maui Relief Fundraiser for Nisla Hickman: Whether it was a honeymoon, a family vacation, a spontaneous trip with friends, or simply on the list of places to visit before our bucket kicks, Hawaii is a place many of us have visited or yearned to visit.
The disaster that has leveled the historical town of Lahaina will leave in its ashes a permanent yearning in the hearts of those who were lucky to call it “Home," or in native Hawaiian - “Hale.”
Our dear friend Nisla Hickman, a resident and local artist in Lahaina, is one of the many that has been affected by the fire. An incredibly talented artist, the gallery where her artwork was displayed was a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. This past week, she lost both her home and the gallery to the fire in Lahaina. She and her family are safe and still on Maui, but they have a long road ahead.
We are asking for donations of any amount. We hope to raise $75,000 to help Nisla and her family get back on their feet. All donations will go to Nisla and her family as they replace what they have lost.
No amount of money can replace the centuries of history, the hundreds of homes that held countless memories, or the independently-owned businesses that gave the little town of Lahaina its spirit of Aloha. If you've ever felt the Hawaiian sand between your toes while breathing in the ocean air and taking a picture of a Hawaiian sunset, please share the “Hale Aloha” fundraiser with your friends, family, and co-workers so that we can all do our part to help Nisla and her family rebuild their lives.
