Half marathon for Alzheimer’s research UK

Both of us (Amy and Niamh) will be taking part in the Cambridge Half Marathon on October 17th. In doing so we will be raising money for Alzheimer’s UK.

I (Amy) have been running for a while now, having already completed a half marathon this year. Like many people, my grandma has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s so fundraising for the cause has become even more important for me personally.

I (Niamh) was completely new to running in May this year and have loved training with Amy and pushing myself to enter into the half marathon. I’ve had a massive sense of achievement doing a long distance race after only 6 months of running!

The smallest donations are hugely appreciated so please feel free to give any amount! We both feel strongly about the progression within Alzheimer’s research and find it a very important cause. We hope you feel the same.
