Half on a Baby with the Mutambas
Donation protected
We think R. Kelly is wrong. It takes more than bodies being next to each other to go half on a baby.
Over the past few years Masimba and I have been asked numerous times: “When are you going to have little ones running around?” With smiles on our faces, but pain in our hearts, we reply saying: “We’re going to get around to it.”
The truth is we have been trying desperately to have a baby for years now. We've both undergone extensive and expensive testing. We've been pricked, poked, and prodded. We've even undergone 2 rounds of interuterine Insemination (IUI). Unfortunately, both were unsuccessful.
Our best chance to conceive is to undergo Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), a more specialized form of In vitro Fertilization (IVF). Essentially, the doctor will remove some of my eggs, fertilize them , and then put them back into my uterus to develop. This procedure is estimated to cost roughly $20,000.
Our treatment plan includes 1 round of IVF with ICSI and 2 rounds of fertilized egg transfers for a total of $30,000. It's an astronomical number.
We've been saving up as much as can, but we sure could use your help. Any donation you give will go solely toward IVF fertility treatments and the medications/procedures necessary for us to have a baby.
If you can, please consider going half on a baby with us by donating to help us complete our family.
