Support me on my run to alleviate poverty & dependency in NY
Tax deductible
Dear friends, family, peers, and colleagues -- on April 28, I'm running the Brooklyn Half Marathon to raise money for The Father's Heart Ministries. Since moving to NYC back in 2021, I have been immensely inspired by its mission to help people move from dependency to dignity and from poverty to prosperity.
All of the organization's programs are designed to fulfill its core values of unconditional love, acceptance, forgiveness, and commitment to people in the NYC community and to help them move forward in life. These programs include:
- Hunger prevention soup kitchen & food pantry where guests can get food stamps
- Free legal advice & social service referrals
- GED preparation, tutoring, and ESL classes
- Transition program for men who are homeless and/or unemployed
- Job-training/mentoring program for teens
Any donation will help make an impact! Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause - it means so much to me, and the wider NYC community.
I will be dedicating my run on the 28th to the organization - wish me luck!
More info: It is the vision and commitment of The Father's Heart Ministries to see the cycle of dependency and poverty broken, to restore dignity to individuals and an improved quality of life to low-income individuals, those on fixed incomes (elderly, ill, and disabled), homeless, and immigrant individuals. We want to assist with the full restoration of a life, whenever and however possible.
