Halie Williams Recovery and School Fund

Halie Williams is 13 years old. On September 10, 2019 while en route to school, her bus driver suffered a heart attack and her bus rolled 5 times. There were 8 students on the bus. Four were seriously injured and airlifted. Halie is one of them and unfortunately is the worst injured. While the last of her friends went home on September 12,  Halie underwent a third surgery this morning (9/14). Her right femur, tibia, and ankle are broken. Both jaws are broken and her right lung collapsed. They’ve place rods in her leg and had to put a plate and screw in her ankle. Her jaws are wired shut. She’s got a long recovery ahead of her.

Unfortunately, my sister and her fiancé are very poor. Due to a lot of different circumstances, they are a family seven with one income. They are looking at real hardship and unable to buy the things Halie will need. She needs to be able to homeschool for a while and that requires a laptop and internet access. They live in Walnut, MS, but will have to drive back and forth to Memphis for doctors, physical therapy and rehab as well as therapy for the trauma she’s suffered from the wreck and watching a much loved bus driver die. We thank you for any help you can give.
