St Mary’s Community Hall Refurbishment Project

In September this year St Mary’s Community Hall will be 16 years old. It’s been heavily used within our community, and a real asset to everyone – but of course this has led to the need for some refurbishment, work we must do in order to keep up the standard we wish to offer.

Our plan is to refurbish the toilets and hopefully redecorate the main hall during this summer. This project will cost just over £30,000.

Fundraising events and grant applications have raised almost £13,000 and we are particularly grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund for their grant of £9,750 towards our project. There will be more fundraising events and grant applications. But we still need to raise more money.

92% of children who use the hall and 70% of adults are from the wider community. We now need to reach this community to help get the hall ready for the next 16 years.

By donating through this GoFundMe page your money will go directly to the Refurbishment Project. It may also be gift-aided.

Many thanks for all your support. It will be wonderful to celebrate the hall’s 16th birthday by confirming its ongoing role at the heart of our community.
