Help Dana pay for bottom surgery revisions.

My name is Dana St. Amand. I'm a transgender woman living in Los Angeles. In 2019, I had bottom surgery performed by a team of surgeons that my insurance recommended and covered. While their hearts were in the right place, they were inexperienced in this procedure and I was left in the hospital for a month due to complications. Almost 4 years later, I'm left with both an aesthetically and functionally botched result causing me emotional distress and adding to my dysphoria.

I have been on Dr. Marci Bowers waiting list for 3 years so I can get the revisions I need from a truly skilled and competent surgeon who knows how important this is to people like me. I have also been working with my insurance to get coverage. Full and complete disclosure, my insurance will cover the procedure with a different surgeon they have chosen. My trust has been shaken from the last time this happened, and I only want to go to someone I know about and trust. My insurance will not cover Dr. Bowers.
