Haltom 725 repeater.

We are raising funds to improve the Haltom 725 GMRS repeater. I got my GMRS license last year, and living in Haltom City, it became clear that even though there was good GMRS repeater coverage in Dallas, as well as north, south and east of Dallas, there was not a repeater available to serve the heart of Fort Worth. A few months ago, a few of us got together and started the Haltom 725 repeater on a very limited budget to help address this lack of coverage. The repeater has gone through multiple upgrades and even moved to a better location in Haltom City. However, additional improvements are needed to continue the improvements and expand the coverage. A GoFundMe page has been started to help us continue these improvements. Every dollar donated will be spent on improvements for this Haltom GMRS repeater. The purpose of this repeater is to serve the GMRS radio community and improve communications in the DFW area. This is a public repeater and is open to anyone with a GMRS license. If you are a GMRS user interested in supporting this project, your contribution, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
