Urgent Support For Displaced Palestinian Family
Donation protected
A little about me: My name is Karyna. I live in Colorado and have been a long time supporter of the Palestinian people. I was connected to the Hamad family in March when I was asked to take over an existing fundraising campaign since the admin could no longer manage this himself.
I'm raising money on behalf of the Hamad family - Ashraf, Ashraf's mother, his wife Walaa, and their two young children, Sham and Hisham. The Hamad family has been displaced and forced to move from camp to camp since their home in Khan Younis, Gaza was destroyed by Israeli bombs. Last week they fled Rafah and moved into a camp on the beach to escape the imminent ground invasion of Rafah. Both children have been sick for weeks, and the eldest child, Hisham, has suffered from a severe ear infection that will require surgery, for months. The Hamad family needs our support for day to day living expenses, such as food, water, medicine, and camping supplies. Their long term goal is to be able to afford visas so that they can leave Gaza and rebuild their lives in a safer place. Visas to cross into Egypt cost $5,000 per person, and take 1-2 months to process. Ashraf wants nothing more than to protect his beautiful children and take them somewhere safe where they can live in peace and enjoy their childhood. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not in communication with them, and I consider them to be part of my own family now. Please support this fundraiser to help the Hamads survive the most difficult time in their lives. If you can't donate, please share with your friends and family. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
