Hamburger Water Tower Trust
Tax deductible
Who?
- The Hamburger Water Tower Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
What?
- Our goal is to paint a 500,000 gallon elevated water tower to resemble a hamburger!
Where?
- The tower, which is already shaped like a hamburger, stands prominently on the New York State Thruway near Hamburg exit 57
Why?
- Our reasons are two-fold - 1st in homage to the birth of the hamburger at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, New York in 1885 & 2nd as a economic development opportunity through tourism. "If we paint it, they will come!"
When?
- We're targeting summer 2021 after sufficient funds have been raised for restoration & painting the water tower but timing depends on you!
