HamDome: The Outdoor Hamster Dome City

I'd like to move all the hamster stuff outdoors to make more room in the house. At the same time I'd like to increase the number of hamsters I keep, while they remain protected from inclement weather and local cats. I intend to do this in a way that also amounts to its own cool "hamster mini-world" project, along the same lines as Hampture or Hambunker.

 

To that end, I need $1,000 for the dome itself, as well as another $1,000 to cover yard clearing (it is hopelessly overgrown currently) and the additional equipment I will need to finish out the dome interior. This includes transparent bins for the enclosures, connecting tubing so the hams can move between the bins, an arduino plus webcams for remote monitoring, etc. etc. etc.

 

The dome is 12 feet in diameter, and 7 feet tall. It will be assembled from this  store bought kit. The remote cameras will be accessible to anybody over the internet, same as Hambunker and Hampture. I will sometimes vibe in there during rainstorms as well.
