Hamilton High School Mural Honoring Warren Moon

Hamilton High School Alumni are raising money to have a mural painted at the school to honor legendary NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback, Warren Moon. As a Hamilton Alumnus, Class of ’74, Moon led our Hamilton Yankees to a League Championship, as well as his University of Washington Huskies to a Pac 8 Title and a 1978 Rose Bowl Victory. He played in the Canadian League for six years and steered the Edmonton Eskimos to five Grey Cup Championships. Moon played in the NFL for 17 years with the Houston Oilers, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks & Kansas City Chiefs. Warren Moon was the first African American Quarterback inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and was also honored with an induction into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

His athletic talent as a quarterback was phenomenal and we are immensely proud that he is an alumnus from our high school. So, we are encouraging Hamilton Alumni, friends & supporters to donate to the Warren Moon Mural at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles.

All Hamilton High School Alumni Classes are encouraged to donate to help us meet our fundraising goal.

Please make your donation and indicate your Alumni Class Year. The class with the largest donation amount will be recognized at the Moon Mural Unveiling Reception.

Any additional funds raised will be donated to the Hamilton High School Athletic Program.
