Hamilton Park 24 hour Charity Cycle Challenge

Hamilton Park Gears Up for a 24-Hour Charity Cycle Across All Five Scottish Racecourses!

Hamilton Park is excited to announce that staff will be participating in a 24-hour charity cycling challenge. We’ll be aiming to cover a total of 323 miles—the equivalent of travelling from Hamilton Park to Ayr, Perth, Musselburgh, and Kelso, before returning back to Hamilton Park—all without leaving the racecourse as we will be on an exercise bike!

This intense effort is in support of two incredible charity partners: Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation and Maggie’s.

The Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation brings joy to sick children and their siblings by granting their heartfelt wishes. Whether it's meeting their idols, attending concerts, exploring zoos, or indulging in their favourite activities, the foundation helps create unforgettable memories during challenging times. These experiences offer a much-needed respite and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Maggie's provides free expert cancer care and support in centres across the UK and online. Their Cancer Support Specialists, Psychologists, and Benefits Advisors assist people in coping with a cancer diagnosis. Maggie's help individuals feel less alone and more confident in communicating with their medical teams and have helped thousands of people obtain the benefits they are entitled to. Last year Maggie’s supported over 280,000 people with cancer, of which 70,000 were visiting for the first time.

Every donation, big or small, will make a huge difference in the lives of those supported by Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation and Maggies charities.
