Hammock Community Association
Tax deductible
Please join our efforts to save Bing's Landing.
We have joined forces with "Flagler County Citizen's Group" and "Save our Park" to stop the proposed expansion and relocation of Captain's BBQ in Flagler County's Bings Landing Historic Park.
Hammock Community Association is now accepting tax deductible donations for our efforts to stop the expansion of a this private business and the destruction of our beautiful park.
The proposal claims that the current building is unusable due to water damage and therefore must be completely rebuilt in another location within the park. The new building would expand Captain's BBQ from the existing business model into a large full service restaurant. It would be larger and have a full liquor license and bar. The seating is planned to increase from 100 to 150, creating the need for 30 additional parking spaces and 7,500 square feet of septic drain field (5X current size).
With enough local support, we may be able to prevent the destruction of our park.
Please join us if you want to prevent Captain's BBQ from overwhelming this small but beautiful park that epitomizes the unique character of the Hammock.
Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution.
The HCA makes no guarantees as to the result of the efforts, nor occurs liabilities or duties other than to promote the effort and to manage all donations gathered in a reasonable and transparent manner. If we have funds remaining after this campaign, we will use them in a like manner for preservation of our unique and beautiful Hammock.
