Hamza, an 18-year-old young man born and raised in Minneapolis whose promising journey was tragically cut short by a senseless drive-by shooting on the streets of Westside Chicago. Hamza's passing was a profound loss, a result of an unjust act that has left us all heartbroken.
Hamza was a family-oriented young man and always believe that the memories we make with our family is everything. He loved to travel and explore – wanted to go to cities/countries that he had never been and meet new people.
He was the oldest of 3 of his siblings but not only was he a sibling to them but also a mentor. He always sought understanding over conflict and believed in harmony above all else. His dedication to peaceful solutions was mirrored in his academic excellence, consistently achieving remarkable grades, and maintaining his position at the top of his class.
Hamza's love for basketball was infectious, infusing the court with energy and competition whenever he played. Enjoying games with his friends, he cherished camaraderie and shared moments of joy. Hamza was a bright soul who always had a radiant smile that had the power to light up any room.
Your contributions will not only provide Hamza with a dignified farewell but will also be a heartfelt gesture of kindness and charity.
Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. We need to raise $15,000 in order to build a mosque on his behalf so it could be a continuing ajr for him and We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. Thank you for your support.
