Handicap accessible deer stands
Donation protected
Hello all. My name is Randy and this is my story. I love hunting and always have. However when my wife had multiple strokes and was confined to a wheelchair my thoughts drifted to those whos life was much worse than mine.
It was then 3 years ago that I started hosting handicap and disabled hunters on my farm. It was then when I realized how much that meant to me. Since then I have done it every year and this year I was the first ever land owner/ hunter that was paired up by Hands of a Sportsman. I love doing this but have always had to borrow a groud blind to make it possible. So now I am in the process of building two permanant stands that will not only be accesable but very comfortable as well.
Its far more costly than I ever thought it would be. So if any one could help it would be awesome. Donations of lumber or other materials would be just as good! I would like to thank Scott Smith and Tommy Banks for the help already received to this point. Please search your heart and if you can help thank you very much.
