Jd is special to many people. However his special person was Sharon Chin. She spent countless hours taking care of him when I worked. She not only took care of him but they had a special love. He loved seeing her so much if she was at the door he would crawl faster then I can to the door.
So in Memory Of Sharon who passed away Feb 15, 2022. Jd needs ongoing care and with age I want to make sure he gets the best of care. Chiropractor is next on my list and doing anything I can to keep his quality of life great. As Sharon would also be please with

Over 16 million people on social media media watched JD in his 4 wheeled walker/wheelchair. Thanks to the first gofundme for JD, more then enough money was raised to purchase this wheelchair, new weight bearing harness and physical therapy. Unfortunately, because of his condition, JD continues to need care.
JD has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition that affects his muscles and his ability to control them.. He was born with this disorder due to being born to a mother with distemper. He cannot walk and be a normal dog without assistance. All of his littermates died at birth.
I adopted him from a shelter in Brooklyn.
He had been adopted a few times and was returned immediately. People couldn’t deal with his issues. The shelter said there was good chance he would be in a stainless steel cage forever. He was terrified because the cages were noisy and he was a very fearful puppy. He couldn’t even go to the bathroom decently in the cage since he couldn’t walk or sit up right. The poor guy was a wreck. I had to bring him home.
JD needs medication for arthritis and muscle dysfunction as well as anti-inflammatory medication. Besides his neurological issues, he also has bouts of bowel Inflammation that are often bloody and require vet care treat it.
Finally,JD needs to go to physical therapy to improve function of rear legs and hips. This is expensive, it costs about 85.00 an hour.
Unfortunately, I have injuries of my own, from volunteering at Ground Zero on 9/11 I am reduced to working part time and seeing many doctors here in NYC.I am blessed with medical care for myself but my income has been limited.
With my doctors advice, I adopted JD to help with PTSD and other issues. He has been my constant companion for the past six years. We support each other immensely
I don’t like to ask for help but I need to put away my pride and ask for JD. What choice do I have? He deserves all the medications and care he needs.
Please help support this sweet, sweet boy. Every penny goes to JD. An accountant manages it all to ensure that JD is properly cared for. If you have questions or want to see more photos, videos, or even references from folks that know him, please feel free to write and I’ll send it. With 16 million views on social media, Jd has become a super star.
