Hands in for Palestine

In August, a group of us will be visiting Palestine to give aid to Palestinians Inshallah.

 

A majority of the time Palestinians do not actually receive the funds that are raised for them due to unethical charities. Therefore, we will be raising money and going to Palestine to distribute the proceeds, personally. Every single penny raised will go towards their aid.

 

You can follow this journey and see the impact of your donations as we will post photos and share the moments with you all.

 

It was narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that 'charity does not decrease wealth'.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference:

"Don't feel ashamed when giving little for charity; that is because there is always goodness in giving no matter how little". Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA).

What will I be doing to help and how will the funds be distributed?

 

Helping cancer/terminally ill patients at Al Hussein hospital in Beit Jala and Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem by contributing towards medicinal costs/treatments.

Working alongside MSF/Doctors without Borders in Palestine. This includes supporting those who have been affected by the occupation psychologically/physically and providing food packages and basic necessities.

Providing facilities aiding disabled children at LifeGate Beit Jala

 

Visiting SOS Orphanage, providing orphaned children with hampers: books, clothes, toys.
