As the Global Pandemic due to the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 continues across America, millions of essential workers are without PPE. These workers consist of grocers, health care workers, maintenance workers, and more. In the U.S. these workers are in constant need of essentials to protect them as they work to help their community. COVID-19 has left consumers of our nation without simple items such as hand sanitizer, proper masks, and gowns. Hand sanitizer is used to decrease infectious agents on the hands. Formulations of the alcohol-based type are preferable to handwashing with soap and water in most situations in the healthcare setting. It is generally more effective at killing microorganisms and better tolerated than soap and water.
Seeing essential workers in need of such a vital product caught the attention of Manufacturer Shaan Honq, and their sister company SHRD Haircare . Owned by Research and Development specialist Artemis Tsai, she knew all too well how to manufacture and distribute hand sanitizers made readily available for many in Taiwan. She wanted to expand this ability to those in need in the US. Artemis understood that the feasibility of generating a hand protectant that could be used multiple times and would not leave their hands dry and irritated, yet protect and serve was of benefit to those in need during this time and for the future. Utilizing her team in the U.S. they knew that those served best would be essential workers supported by The Hearts for Heroes Organization.
The Hearts for Heroes is a Charitable Organization that supports essential workers throughout all communities who are working hard every day to promote positivity created by Cze-Ja Tam, a CPNP. The organization’s goal is to encourage positive mental health to our first responders while they face anxiety-provoking situations, challenging decisions, and stressful demands. The Hearts for Heroes wants to bring a smile to every hero’s face in their work environment. All around us are members of our communities who are risking their lives to help save ours. Today and every day, The Hearts for Heroes wants to make sure these individuals feel our love and appreciation!
Together SHRD Haircare and The Hearts for Heroes organization plan to raise funds for the raw materials and produce and distribute hand sanitizers to the millions of essential workers who need it at no cost to them. Together they will create the Hand to Help Heroes Initiative. The Hand to Help Heroes Initiative will distribute the hand sanitizer to essential workers nationwide. The COVID-19 Pandemic has changed our daily mindset with a heightened awareness to continue social distancing, hand washing, and sanitizing. We all depend on essential workers to manage your everyday life, such as waste management workers, grocers, pharmacists, nurses, auto mechanics, and many more. However, with the lack of PPE, such workers can find themselves unable to protect themselves while at work.
This Pandemic is here, and we must join together to help those who keep our daily lives running. Therefore, SHRD Hair Care and The Hearts for Heroes Organization join together to form The Hand to Help Heroes Initiative. This initiative is ready to provide all essential workers with hand sanitizers regularly. Help us by donating to the Hand to Help Heroes Initiative nationwide. Please give us a hand to help keep essential hands across the country safe. Together we would like to raise $13,000 within the next two months to support this initiative.
