Both of David's arms were amputated from the elbows after an electrocution accident late last year. He has been shunned by his family and friends, and now lives at the (very run down) rehab center for the disabled in Enugu, Nigeria, totally dependent on the goodwill and generosity of people like you and me.
I met him while working in Nigeria on an Oxfam-funded project for Persons Living with Disabilities, and was deeply touched by his graciousness and humility.
David is a very smart young man, a fast learner who is passionate about information technology. Prosthetic arms will revolutionize his life and enable him to help so many.
David needs hands and we can help him get them.
