Our sweet boy, Hank, has cancer
Sadly, we learned that the lump on Hank's elbow is a spindle cell sarcoma. It must be removed or the cancer could spread and Hank could lose his leg.
Hank was rescued from the San Bernardino City shelter. We brought him into our center in Lake Forest, CA, to help him find a forever home. We have fallen in love with this silly boy! He keeps us laughing as we never know where we will find him next. He might be sleeping on the bottom shelf in the storage room with the extra blankets, or snuggled up to any one of the smaller pups inside their beds, or with his head dangling off the side of a chair too small for him, or he might just crawl onto your lap. Hank is a love bug for sure.
Hank is a happy dog and it pains us to think of what lies ahead for him with his surgery and chemo treatments. But we know he is a trooper and will get through this with the help and support of our team of supporters who love him.
If you would like to make a donation to help pay for Hank's surgery and follow-up treatments, we would be forever grateful.
