Hanna Safley B Positive

Dear friends and family we have devastating news. Hanna has cancer again. More so it’s a secondary cancer caused by treatment of her last cancer. She has Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She has a tough road ahead. She will be moved up to Seattle Children’s Hospital for treatment and preparation to have a bone marrow transplant. We will be praying for a perfect match in Helaina as first choice. Our heads are spinning and our moods are a rollercoaster. Hanna is crushed. All her har...d work these last years- powering through the unthinkable cancer at 13 and completing treatment almost 3 years ago this month. Her future was unfolding right before her. She was so excited with anticipation for it all - graduation, prom, camp counselor in Montana, summer camp, Mary Bridge nurses camp volunteer, girlfriends Hawaii trip. And the massive cherry on top -University if Washington -PAUSE!!! We, she, are ready to go to battle. We request your prayers, strength, good vibes, encouragements, to help Hanna in this long road. We found that faith, positiveness, humor, tears are good medicine and can carry Hanna in the worst of days.
We are tentatively scrambling to pull together a mock graduation/prom for her. Please keep her in your prayers and send her encouragement and strength to carry her.
