Hannah An- 1st EP Album EVER!!!!!

A Little Bit About Me...

Hey there! My name is Hannah An.  I am a worship leader at my local church and a singer/songwriter from Atlanta, GA.  I’ve been happily married to my best friend, Young, for the last 14 years. I am mama to three energetic, tender-hearted, sweet kiddos, Noah, Eli, & Abby.  

My Journey...

My parents immigrated to the United States from South Korea in the early 70s, and I was born here in a Atlanta, GA (making me a 2nd generation Korean American).  I grew up in a pretty broken home, and at a young age, my view of my Heavenly Father was deeply impacted by my home life.  I never realized how wounded, hurt, and broken I was until my adult years (like into my 30s).  Fast forward to 2015, God began a huge renovation of my heart through my time in Worship Circle.  He ever so gently began to heal the broken places of my heart and restored my relationship with Him through hearing from Him through prayer and His word. 

Over the last few years, my healing journey has been so sweet with our Father and a lot of it has poured over into songwriting.  Prior to worship school, I had only written 1 song back in my college days.  I literally never thought I had it in me to be a songwriter.  Obviously, God proved me wrong, and the handful of songs that have poured out of my soul over the last year and a half have been songs from the Father's heart. 

While in 10,000 Fathers Worship School (2017-2018), my huddle leader encouraged me to  record and release an EP on Songs from the Fathers Heart, but to be completely honest, I disregarded it feeling like I wasn’t good enough or had what it takes. (An EP is a compilation of songs, which is longer then a single but shorter then a full album.)  God in His loving kindness, did not leave me alone in this pursuit of releasing an EP and continued to encourage me in different conversations and circumstances to walk out in obedience to what He's called me to do.  So here I am, ready to step out, take the risk, and record this EP!!

My Vision...

My vision for this five -song EP Album is that God would bring healing, freedom, and restoration to His people through these songs!  My desire is that we would all draw near to the heart of God, our Father.  My prayer is that His songs over you would spark a journey towards healing and freedom or if you're already on that journey, it would move you towards deeper healing and restoration.  I love that in Luke 4:18-19 Jesus stands before the synagogue and declares that he has fulfilled this scripture from Isaiah 61:1-2 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim freedom to the captives and recovering of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor (NIV)."  God has done this for me in my life through the work of Jesus, and my hope is that these songs you hear from the Father would do the same with in you.  


It Takes A Village...I Need YOUR HELP!!!

I am raising $5,000 to cover the costs to record the album and get it out to the world!!!!  These costs include: producer/engineer, studio time, mixing, mastering, printing the actual cd's, photographer/videographer, graphic design, and marketing.  That's a whole lotta stuff that goes into a record!
