Hannah and Chris
Donation protected
Hello,
I’m looking to receive some donations for my daughter Hannah Strand and her family. They are facing possible eviction. Also their electricity and their phones shut off. Hannah has been a trooper through the year and she’s been such a positive light in some really hard times. In February of this year Hannah found out she was having her second baby. She was scared about how she was gonna be able to support another baby. Her and her boyfriend (Chris) have two kids already, Evelyn and Kyler both from previous relationships. So when she found out she was having a second she wasn’t sure what the next 9 months would bring. In May her baby boy was diagnosed in the womb with a condition called Gastroschisis this is a defect of the stomach. He had a long journey ahead of him since this is a rare defect about 1 in 4,000 babies.
Hannah had to receive a lot of medical attention since her baby boy (Coleson) was having some issues while in the womb things started to get more challenging, leaving Hannah unable to work since she was constantly back and forth to u of m hospital. She drove about 40 minutes there and back twice a week for constant testing. While taking care of the two kids so Chris could continue working.
Hannah was medically induced at 37 weeks to insure Coleson would have a safe delivery. After 16 hours of super scary labor with his heart rate dipping. Coleson made his entrance only to be put into sedation to have surgery 30 minutes after being born.
Coleson was then admitted into nicu, they were told the timeline was unknown of how long he would need to be there.
Hannah stayed at the hospital while Chris tried to continue working while also making sure Evelyn and Kyler went to school. Cutting his hours down making the bills stack up and get more behind.
Coleson made a fast recovery all nurses saying he was one of the best cases of Gastroschisis that they have seen. 20 days later with a ton of prayers he came home.
Hannah and Chris are the most loving people and their kids are their everything. Christmas is coming and they are facing possible eviction with electricity and phones shut off.
They are looking for a light in these dark times.
Any donations help them get back on their feet and get the bills caught up. Keeping a roof over their family’s heads also keeping them warm and put food in their belly’s.
Please donate! Anything helps!
God bless you all!
