Hannah's Volunteer Trip to Haiti

My name is Hannah Lunt, I'm a 17 year old Junior at New Mexico School for the Arts, and I am currently in the theater department at my school.  I have been passionate about theater and about teaching the art for years, and have always wanted to have the chance to teach it in a distinct and seperate place.  I now have the chance to do that very thing.  My classmates and I are taking a volunteer trip to Haiti and sharing our passion for the arts with Haitian kids, so we can spread the infatuation that we have for the arts.  
I've always wanted to change or influence the world in some way or the other, and this is the beginning of it all! We hope to create arts programming and teach classes to Hatian children in Caye Jacmel at a local orhpanage. We will also co-create a sustainable community project such as a mural or garden.   The money will be used partly for finances of the trip, but also for necessities for the community.  By the end of March I will need to have raised $3500.  If I have not raised enough money than unfortunately I will not be able to go, and I can give the money to someone else.  



Please make this dream come true and I will change the world bit by bit with my passion and aptitude!  These kids have so little and to give this to their community will be more than I could ever ask for!
