Hannah Wallace, at 22 years young, left this world on her own accord last week. Hannah leaves behind her mom Michelle, her father Jeremiah, her dear sister Emma, her beloved little brother Jackson, and chosen cousin, Jadzia. Sincerest condolences to the Nanasi family, the Bailey family, the York family, and to the Wallace family.
Hannah’s unexpected passing has left her community heartbroken.
Hannah was in her last year at McGill university, studying to be a teacher. A talented writer, a gentle soul, a beautiful human.
Hannah was loved by her Secondary 5 students at Royal Vale High School, and will be missed by her dear friends.
This fundraiser is to help finance the memorial service and cover other expenses the family will be incurring.
The generosity from everyone has been overwhelming and the goal of $4000.00 was reached within 36 hours. A sincere thank you on behalf of Hannah’s family.
We have increased the goal to $8000.00, this money will be helpful for counselling for Hannah’s siblings, for expenses to help the family cope and work on healing, and a Memorial Graduate Fund in Hannah’s name.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated in this time of immense grief.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday the 22nd of May from 1-3 PM.
The address is: 2435 Rue de l'Église, Val-David, QC J0T 2N0 and the ceremony will be held in the Jardin de Silice, on the site of 1001 Pots festival grounds.
