Hansoo Kim (김한수)

Hi everyone, my name is Rachel Kim (unrelated) and I am a close family friend of Hansoo Kim (김한수) and the Kim family.

On behalf of the family, I deeply regret to share that on the night of January 14, 2023, Hansoo Kim (김한수) tragically lost his life. He is survived by his wife and three children (Sam, Sujin, and Juyoung).

He loved being outside in nature and would spend his few days off during the year hiking with his wife and friends. More than anything, he loved his family deeply and would go to great lengths to set them up for success and cheer them on. He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, uncle, friend, church member, and local restaurant owner who was always willing to lend a hand and support those around him in whatever way he could.

As of right now, the restaurant is closed indefinitely and we're unsure what the future holds for the family. Your support will go towards any funeral or memorial costs, college tuition for the kids, and helping the family stay afloat financially as the restaurant was their primary source of income.

We ask that you refrain from reaching out to the family directly at this time as they grieve and mourn.
