Happy Tail-Tail Amputation

Hi everyone!

As many of you all know or even witnessed how happy Dude gets when people come over, you know how strong his tail is. Unfortunately, he has what's called Happy Tail Syndrome-where he bangs his tail to the walls or to his body where it cuts and almost impossible to heal. I've tried putting bandages on it but now he eats it (he has a history of swallowing foreign objects). So I've decided that
