Mission
Provide support to the hospitality and service providers in Harbor Springs, Michigan who have been displaced and impacted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic through:
-Our partnership with the Manna Food Project
-Direct financial support
Establishments and Related Displaced Workers Targeted for Support
Local restaurant, services and other providers including:
-The Pier
-The New York
-Bar Harbor
-Paper Station
-Polished on Main
-Frye Massage
-Turkey’s
-Teddy Griffin’s
-Pierson’s
-Pond Hill Farm
-State Roadhouse Provisions
-Colin’s Corner Café
-Johan’s Bakery
-The Cupola & Small Batch
-Other
Goal
Raise $100,000.00 by means of:
-Direct grass roots fundraising campaign targeting full year and seasonal members of Harbor Springs, Michigan and surrounding communities
-Direct contributions can be made to the “Harbor Springs Hospitality & Service Providers Fund, LLC, PO Box #803, Harbor Springs, MI 49740”
-GoFundMe online fundraising campaign
-Facebook online fundraising campaign
Distribution of Funds
Funds raised via the partnership with the MANNA Food Project direct donation process to be utilized 100% for the “Hospitality & Service Workers Drive Thru Pantry” program (visit www.mannafoodproject.org or by sending a charitable contribution to Manna Food Project, 8791 McBride Park Court, Harbor Springs, MI 49740. Designate your gift to “Hospitality Pantry”)
Funds raised by the Harbor Springs Hospitality & Service Providers Fund, LLC via GoFundMe, Facebook and direct fundraising campaigns to be shared in part between the Manna Food Project and direct financial support
Distribution of funds via the Harbor Springs Hospitality & Service Providers Fund, LLC to occur at regular intervals
Balance of at least $2,500.00 to remain in place at all times until such time as duration of activities expire
Duration of Campaign
Fundraising and support activities to continue at least one month after the State of Michigan eliminates existing decree on closure and/or limited service of restaurant, hospitality and related service provider establishments
Any funds left in balance after elimination of existing decree and subsequent 1 month “grace” period to be distributed in accordance with the above mentioned “Distribution of Funds”
