Hard times with bills, car engine seized

Hi, my name's Eddie.

I've been experiencing what I could only call a series of unfortunate events when it comes to my finances, we fell on hard times when my wife lost her job and we had to struggle to get by for a month or two until she found something sustainable, then immediately after the car engine of our 2017 hyundai accent seized up. I tried getting them to cover the engine under an extended warranty I got when I initially got the car (Haha, I was smart for a second!) but unfortunately they made a determination that they were unwilling to cover the cost of the engine.

I still owe 10,000 on the car as a whole so finding that out was particularly unfortunate and anxiety inducing, going from 'everything's finally working out' to 'crap, here we go again' is likely something you may have dealt with, so I don't need to explain just how much it sucks. It's like the rug being pulled out from under you in a way.

All in all what I need the money for is to cover bills that have accumulated in the time we've gone without a car due to being unable to get to and from work as well as either getting a new car under my wife's name or fixing the car we have at the mechanic currently.

(All in all Bills are roughly $2,000)

(Car related things are $8,000 including cost of inspections and the engine cost. Reason for trying to replace the engine opposed to getting a new car is because I still owe 10k on the car. x.x)
