Hardship help for Miguel Rodriguez & Family

My name is Lizette, I never thought that I would be in this position where I would be asking for help on gofundme. I’m asking for your help for my husband Miguel and my little family during these unexpected difficult times. 

      We never thought something like this could happen from one day to the next.  On 9/22/22, an early Thursday morning, I found my Husband unconscious not breathing on the bathroom floor. As I proceeded to do CPR immediately,  as soon as he started to breathe again I called 911. The ambulance arrived to take him to the ER. Upon arrival the doctors advised me my Husband had gone unconscious from a ruptured aneurysm causing his brain to bleed. He underwent open brain surgery to secure the aneurysms and is still at risk of having a stroke and losing some physical abilities and possibly having permanent neurological disorders. He remains hospitalized to this date. 

     We had a son in February and decided I would stay at home to raise our baby, and he would be the sole provider of our home. Miguel has always been a hard worker He will not be able to work to provide for us for the foreseeable future until his rehabilitation is complete. He'll have to gain back his memory, cognitive ability, and his ability to do things on his own again. This will be a long term recovery ahead for him and our family. 

     My husband Miguel has always been a selfless hard worker with a big loving heart. Always caring for others before himself and despite this trauma he has experience he doesn't lose his smile and humor during his recovery. 

     We're praying every day for him to recover so he can come home.  God is big, we have faith that they'll be better days ahead.
