Hardworking Single Mom Hoping For A Miracle

Hi, my name is Kenisa and I've recently fallen into some really hard times. I'm originally from New Jersey but moved to South Carolina about three years ago so I could give my four year old son, Mason, a better life. Since moving here, I've gotten myself a good paying job, and was able to get my own apartment for me and my son as well as a car to get us around. Back in New Jersey, I could barely afford an apartment, let alone a car, so things were definitely improving for both Mason and myself. Since Covid, however, things have been getting harder and harder. Most recently, I was in a car accident where a bus collided with my car while I was taking Mason on errands. Thankfully, we were both okay but my new car is not! It is completely undriveable and has been sitting in a shop waiting to be worked on. There have been so many setbacks between the shop and my insurance, that I've been forced out of work for weeks now. And because I've already exhausted all of my sick and vacation time and it doesn't seem that my car will be fixed any time soon, I will not be getting a paycheck for the entire month of July. Considering I have a child to take care of, I now have rely on the kindness of strangers as I have nowhere or nobody else to turn to that can help us out. Work is too far from home so there is no public transportation that I can take, nor can I borrow a car from anyone and I already rented a car for as long as my insurance company would pay for it. I can use the donations to rent a car to be able to get myself back to work because with the economy being the way it is right now, I don't know how long Mason and I can last without my income. And I'm concerned that my job may decide to fire me if I don't return soon so I'm really in desperate times. I know things are tough for a lot of folks these days, so any little bit donated would certainly be of great help to me and Mason.
