Hargett Family

Hi, my name is Kathy D'Aurizio owner and operator of Batavia's Original Pizzeria. My staff and I are fundraising for one of my staff members Jim Hargett and his family. Over the past couple weeks, Jim's wife Deena has been in the hospital with severe medical issues. She has been undergoing various medical tests and surgical procedures. Jim and Deena are the parents of thirteen children. This fundraiser is very important to us because Jim is a very valuable member of our team. At the pizzeria we are very family oriented and Jim, Deena, and his family are like family to us. The funds will be used for Deena's medical bills and to help support the family at this time of need.

WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL, however, being the Christmas season & Deena's pending surgery & ongoing complications, I will keep this open for a bit longer.

This is not easy to write. The blockage is looped around a couple of intestines. They are going to try and break it up or bypass it but there is a chance that they may not be able to, depending on how much cancer is there. Sadly if they can’t get past it, there is nothing else they can do. That can’t do any chemo. She will come home on hospice with a few months left. Please pray for the surgery scheduled for today. It is in God’s hands alone. Thank you❤️ Jim
