Harlem Lacrosse Visits Rutgers

Donation protected
After reflecting on how athletics, specifically lacrosse, has benefited our lives, we want to pay it forward. We are hosting a clinic and tour for students of the Harlem Lacrosse Team at Rutgers University on March 25th.

The mission of Harlem Lacrosse is to empower young children who are at the highest risk of failing or dropping out of school by inspiring them to work hard on and off the field.

"Since 2011, Harlem Lacrosse students have maintained a 100% on-time middle school graduation rate, have passed their classes at a rate 20% higher than that of their peers at our school sites, and have earned over $15 million scholarship offers to independent schools and colleges. "

Lacrosse, or any sport, emphasizes the intangible characteristics difficult to teach off of the field. Through sports, perserverance, confidence, and dedication are reflected in the classroom and all other areas of life.

During this clinic, current and former members of the Rutgers Women's and Men's Lacrosse teams will coach young athletes, lead a Q&A session and conclude the day with a tour of Rutgers' facilities.

We hope to raise $1300 for transportation and rental cost for clinic space. Any additional funds raised will be donated to Harlem Lacrosse.

We are so excited to be involved with such an inspiring and dedicated group of young people! We hope you will be too!
